I was not expecting February to have this many releases. Not only is the Vita being dumped on an unsuspecting populace this month but it looks like solid titles are being released for almost every system.
I was very impressed by the Resident Evil: Revelations demo, but am still disappointed by Capcom’s insistence on charging $10 more than the standard $40 3DS game price. Even if you assume they aren’t bullshitting about the reason for this (they had to use a cart with more space for this game, and are passing on the cost to the gamer), it’s a very dangerous precedent to set, especially since it’s Capcom, who are known to pull any kind of money grubbing chicanery they can these days. I’d advise NOT shelling out $50 for this game and just wait a month or two for it to come down.
Also on my radar is the VanillaWare title Grand Knights History for the PSP, which by all appearances will come out on the 21st. Will it be available on UMD and a PSN download? I’m not sure. People have confirmed that game stores are taking pre-orders for the UMD.
Rhythm Heaven Fever for the Wii is also sneaking in a Feb 13th release, you might have seen one of the many streams dedicated to this wonderful game.
Last of all, check out that Japanese box art for the Vita Uncharted game. How awesome is that??? He looks like some kind of crazy golden god of platform games and bluejeans, floating up towards the sun or heaven or whatever.
